Sharing God's Word and building Leadership skills
In 2004 the Themba Trust decided to make the development of leadership skills, based on Christian principles, a key focus point of its work. Pastor Nkosinathi Biyela (right on the photo above) has been providing spiritual leadership through the Themba Trust to students, employees and the community around Themba for more than two decades. Today he is the head of the Themba Christian Lutheran Ministries and Themba's Christian Leadership Development Programme.
Leadership skills are developed through Christian religious education, a student association, an alumni association, Bible study, workshops and church ministry, gospel choir and outreach activities.
