Themba Trust is a registered non-profit organization, IT 6787/83, that started a residential boarding school for children of farmworkers in deep rural Mpumalanga, on the border to KwaZulu-Natal, near Swaziland in 1985.

‘Themba’ means ‘Hope’ in the Nguni group of languages and we share ‘Hope in Christ’ with all learners at the school.

Every child is considered as highly valuable, with gifts that need to be developed, so that each child may fulfill his or her God-given potential here on earth.

Don't miss this opportunity to register your child at the Themba Education Centre for quality high-school education in a safe, Christian environment. This is a drug-free, alcohol-free environment. Also, Themba's  extra-mural programme helps learners discover hidden talents in music, theatre, sport and other areas of life.

Spaces for boys are limited, so act soon! We still have more space for girls as from 2012, since renovations of another block of dormitories are scheduled to be completed in January 2012.

 Themba Trust works in cooperation with Sinethemba Agricultural and Technical Secondary School to provide an excellent learning and growing environment for teenagers. This school is situated about 4 hours drive from Johannesburg, towards Piet Retief and 5 hours drive north of Durban.
